Real Wedding: Hailey and Ward's First Look and Portraits

Who could forget Hailey and Ward's precious engagement session at Kanakuk Kamps?! Defined Image Photography not only captured a heartwarming engagement session where this amazing couple first met, but these wedding portraits are ones for the books! Please enjoy reminiscing on this perfect day (that even a little rain couldn't ruin) as we celebrate Hailey and Ward's wedding recap week!

What one portrait would you choose to put above your mantle?
This is a tough one! I think there are a lot of good ones to choose from. I would probably choose the black and white photo of Ward and I kissing and standing in front of the car and train station.

What was your most favorite photo location, and why did you choose it?

A favorite?! I don’t know if I can choose just one. In front of the train station with the car was pretty awesome but I also really like the pictures in front of the water with the bridge.

This bridal portrait is PERFECTION!!!

If you could change one thing about your wedding day, what would it be?
I honestly don’t think there is anything I would change. I have never looked back and regretted anything. It was honestly the perfect day.

Real Wedding: Hailey and Ward's Ceremony

Here it is! Dr. and Mrs. McClellan's ceremony! It was sincerely special to be present for this union. Both families were beaming with joy for the couple as they proclaimed their devotion for each other in front of all their loved ones and God. Enjoy day two of the McClellan's Wedding Week!

Why did you choose the ceremony space that you did?
We knew we wanted to get married in a church, that was a priority to us, so we decided to get married at the church where my family attends.

Did you choose to do any memorable events or traditions within your ceremony?

We chose to take communion together as husband and wife for the first time.

What was the most sentimental part of your ceremony?
Definitely our vows. We chose to write our own vows so it made it a 1000x more special. And of course there were tears.
